Question PC screen turning black, then restarting

Not too long ago the my computer started just going black then restarting, it seems to be when playing different games but in general i have had a problem with pc crashes, the reason this is so bad is because it sometimes happens 2-3 times within 10 minutes. Anyway, i'be heard the problem could be the GPU overheating and forcing a shutdown, i recently cleaned the cabinet of my PC as well as all fans, and that didnt help. I've been monitoring my GPU heat and it is bad, my GPU is currently ad somewhere between 67 and 72 degrees when idling. I have a 1080ti, AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8core processor, Prime x370-PRO motherboard and Smart SE 730w PSU. Help please i have no idea what to do next.

Sounds like faulty RAM to me. Most of the time a GPU fault will just black-screen while the driver resets, boot you from the game, and return to Windows desktop. Have you tested RAM?
