PC screen turns black and does nothing

So as i was playing today my pc screen turned black and the lights from keyboard and mouse went off.

I tried to reboot and it loaded bios alright but after getting in the desktop it did the same. After a while it couldnt even load bios..

So the pc now justs turns on, gives the signal to screen to turn on but it doesnt shows anything. Also i cant hard shut down it by pressing the shutdown button. It just stays open.

Seems like a motherboard issue?

Update: My pc turned on and made a repair/format and seemed okay until now. But it starts doing the same thing now..

welcome to that last bloody update from MS.

I had the same problem, and you will find after 5-6 reboots, you will get a horrifying error message about your MBR being no go, and do you want to use your secondary MBR... (that is your clue to back your stuff up on external drive and get ready for a reformat/reinstall windows...)

as I had to just do 2 days ago due to that update that came across... but since, and updating it from fresh copy all is well again .

I tried the /ficmbr, removing last KB Updates etc. etc. on it, then just decide to redo it.

Thing is it doesnt even load bios so i dont think it has to do with windows.. I did a repair when it booted where the windows deleted everything in my drive and got installed again.. What do u think?
