Question PC seems to be unable to utilise all my components fully

GPU: GTX 1070
CPU:i5 4690k
RAM: 16GB (2*8GB Timetec 1600mhz)
MotherBoard: Maximus Gene VIII
SSD: samsung 860 EVO 1 TB


Recently, when gaming, my task manager shows only 60% of my memory and ram is being used, despite having really poor peformance in games, downwards of 20 in battlefield, which previously I got much better performance from. Usage never goes above 60%. Was wondering if anyone had seen this before/had an idea for a a fix.

Low ram usage has nothing to do with poor performance, monitor temperature both cpu adn gpu, CPU usage, gpu usage.

Ram usage at 60% sounds about correct given you have 16gb. That won't be the cause of your poor performance- have you checked what temperatures your machine is running at when gaming? Speed that low sounds like the CPU could be overheating and throttling.
