Hi

So I just installed the CM hyper 212x and before that my PC worked fine. I installed the new heat sink and started my PC up and it started as normal (quieter now I gotten rid of the bloody stock heat sink) and when I looked at the monitor nothing happened. I reinstalled the CPU and heat sink and the RAM. I tried another monitor, made sure the hard drive was in properly and gave it time incase it had something to do with the thermal paste but nothing worked. My CPU was hot after I ran the computer so I assumed it stil worked. Any ideas?

Thanks

So could I just run an Aux cable from a speaker to the motherboard?

When the PC was working well, every time you started it did you hear a beep? PC's usually have a beep code that say to you if all working well or if there's an error.

Some CPU's have a 4-pin power connector. Without that the PC will not work.

Wait is this four pin connector for the fan? Or is there an actual connector for the CPU?

That connector is for the CPU. Some CPU's dont have it, but if yours have it, you need to plug it.

When the PC was working well did you hear a beep when you started it? It's an error code and would really help you now.

Well if the board have the connector then just plug it and try. If you dont unpluged it then that's not the issue.

From your answers, I think you might be better just taking it to a PC repair place.
