Hey Everyone, I am doing a wireshark capture on my home network I am running a netgear wireless n router, I have a pc and laptop wired in and a laptop and another pc on wireless and multiple phones and tablets through wireless as well. I have one windows 7 pc that is on wireless that is sending out hundreds or arps continuously to multiple ip addresses that I dont even have in my network. There doesnt seem to be any sort of pattern just seems like its random ip addresses, I realize I am not seeing any of my other network traffic because I am running wireshark off my wireless network adapter from the other laptop but i dont see this one sending out arps like that. I cant figure out what would make this happen, I have a+ cert network + cert and I just got my ccna yesterday. Does anyone have any ideas? or any experience...thanks

I have seen someone using a port scanner on my router logs, were syn/ack requests . I have it see if has still been happening, what kind of info do you need? I'm running kaspersky internet security on the majority of my pc's and eset on the other.

It's someone from the outside doing ddos attacks but it's not very often, I don't think that has anything to do it. I did a wires hark capture on the PC that is sending them and I see mdns for multicast DNS going out and another one LLM something I have to check again.
