Pc show black screen due to dust?

Ok so this happened twice. Powered on my pc and it showed black screen. Checked the cables, but didnt work. So I took a can of compressed air and removed the dust off of my pc[inside] . And it worked. Happened to me again today after a month and I just sprayed the gpu and removed the dust. And it worked again. Can dust cause this or is any of my hardware failing? Thanks

Dust can cause it.

That being said...I have many PCs that I'm responsible for in a very dirty plant and these PCs literally have golf ball size clumps of dust and oil and everything else in them and I am shocked how few failures I get.
