I recently changed back to DVI from a DisplayPort after the DisplayPort cable broke and would not let me run it in 144hz. Whenever I boot now, it doesn't show the boot screen and I can't get into the bios. The login screen is the first thing it shows. I only have the one monitor and a HTC vive that is using a HDMI port but I tried it without the Vive plugged in and it still didn't show. No idea why it's doing it. Anybody know why and how I can fix it?

Could be one of two things.

1 - fast boot may be enabled which can cause it to skip the splash screen. If this is the case spamming the bios key when you turn it on should still enter the bios.

2 - this is a quote from “Wolfshadw”

“There should be a setting in BIOS (your motherboard manual should be able to give you the proper key press to enter BIOS without actually seeing the screen) which disables the motherboard splash screen and allows you to see the POST.”
