Whats the full pc spec?So a few nights ago I was watching BBC iplayer on my pc I had no problems earlier on in the night and it randomly shut off I left it over night but no joy the next day when turning back on. Could this be the power supply or something to do with the motherboard?
Do you have a gpu or are you using the integrated graphics?
It’s a pretty poor quality psu (tier D) so while integrated graphics is very light load there is a possibility it has died. As you would need a better psu for running any gpu anyway I would start by swapping in a new psu.I haven't bought a gpu for it so assuming I'm using the integrated graphics

Motherboard is probably the next most likely. You could try clearing CMOS first, free to try but unlikely the cause. On the less likely list is a failed cpu or RAM.If changing the psu fails is there anything else it could be ?
