I had that problem for few time right now when there is a lot of effects on the screen in one time my pc just restart its self now i checked with stress test the GPU and CPU and the test came out grate without a problem and pc didn't shut down when i have done the test.

now I cant find the cause of the problem.
that is from the benchmark I have done with 3dmark: http://www.3dmark.com/spy/8291038
and that is the stress test i have done 1: http://www.3dmark.com/tsst/628996
2: http://www.3dmark.com/tsst/628863
my power supply is corsair cx750.
If you have any idea what can be the problem ill love the help thanks in advance.

Solution
GPU could be power starved if PSU is marginal...(trying a known good one of sufficent wattage would eliminate that as a possibility. (If you try another PSU do NOT reuse any old modular cables with new PSU, as connections at PSU supply side connection/insertion point regularly use varying PSU-specific pinouts, which can easily be disastrous to components)

You might be able to underclock your GPU slightly , but, distortions such as pink/green/red dots on screen at regular intervals, etc., often mean failing/marginal VRAM within GPU...

its happens when i play remnant from the ashes and its happens once more on other game but i can recall what its name and i checked if the settings are 2 high in remnant but i lowered them to low(all of the settings) and its didn't help
but when i played assassin creed odyssey on max settings its never happened

BUMP!
Did you ever end up fixing your problem? I have your exact problem and I even crashed during remnant too, specifically fighting Shroud when he bombards you with effects. My PC turns off during heavy effects too like Archeage water effects (ship despawn) or heavy explosions/effects in Divinity Original Sin 2.

Also did underclocking/limiting the power to your GPU help? I did that with the Vega 56 but even after -25% power limit reduction I still crashed in Remnant. However, it helped with other games sometimes. I can't seem to find a consistent reason, much like you.

For anyone curious my specs are:
GPU: RX Vega 56 Pulse
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
MOBO: B450-F ROG Strix
PSU: Bitfenix Formula Gold 650w
