Hi there i just upgraded my cpu from i3 2100 to i5 3550

i have noticed that after switching pc on, it shuts itself down for 3-5 seconds and reboot to work normally
sometimes it does restart itself while win 10 welcome screen and then works for hours with no issues
took a stress test for over night and computer was running solid

mobo
intel dh61ww
cpu i5 3550
gpu nvidia gtx 750
ram crucial ballistix 2x2 gb
ssd 128 adata
psu no name 500w came with as a bundle with cheap case

note that this never happened to my previous i3 before so it has to be something with cpu

Random restarts like that normally indicate a PSU issues. Given yours is a no name, generic type PSU, chances are it's not providing enough power to your system to function normally, and may be failing.

You might look there first. A decent 500-550w PSU would do. Something like a Corsair CXM (new model) would do fine for your system.
