Hi guys, I have a problem where I try to play a game or even run windows experience index - my PC shuts off. I just got a new GTX 970 (asus strix).
Here's my specs:
Asrock x79 Extreme 4-M Mobo
Intel i7 3820 (CPU Cooler-CoolerMaster EVO 212 35? idle - 50? load)
G-Skill Ripjaws 8gb (4gbx2)
GTX 970 - Asus Strix
Samsung Evo SSD 250GB
WD Black HDD 1TB
TOSHIBA HDD 500 GB
DVD Drive
Thermaltake SMART 550w 80 plus Bronze
I had an old gtx 460 card, before installing the new 970, I removed all old drivers, clean install etc. I have good case ventilation/cable management. None of my parts are overclocked (minus the 970 which is factory OC). Here's the specs page for my PSU http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/products-model_Specification.aspx?id=C_00001975 Im not too good at this, Is the problem my PSU or is it something else? Please help me.
