Hi guys sorry if this is in the wrong place,

I've never had any problems with my computer until recently, the problem seems to be intermittent. When I power it on it will always post, but sometimes shutdown a second after the windows logo appears.
About a month ago I used my motherboards oc settings for Cpu and I've used those settings on and off for a while depending on my needs. This shutdown problem seems to have arised after resetting all settings to defaults in bios.
I was thinking something was wrong with my power supply but when it DOES boot up it can game perfectly fine and remain on for hours and hours.
If I flick off the power supply switch and then back on it will gaurantee a proper boot, could something be short circuiting and can a short circuit be intermittent ?

*my temps for cpu and gpu are quite low at 60-70 Celsius under heavy load. And my bios is up to date.

My specs:
Windows 8.1 64bit
Intel S1150 Core i7 4770K 3.50GHz with Noctua NH-D15 CPU Heatsink and Fan
ASUS S1150 ATX MAXIMUS VI FORMULA Motherboard
DDR3 8GB (2x4G) G.Skill 1600MHz PC12800 Ripjaws X RAM Kit
256GB Samsung 2.5" 840 PRO Series 7mm SATA 6Gb/s SSD Drive
2x 2TB WD 3.5" Caviar Green SATA 6Gb/s HDD PN WD20EZRX
2x NVIDIA GTX780Ti 3GB Gigabyte Windforce
CoolerMaster Full ATX HAF-942 X Case Black
850 Watt Antec HCG-850M High Current Gamer Modular Power Supply

I assume you have windows installed on the SSD. Probably the system is having a BSOD and it appears that it has simply shut down.
Try to run BlueScreenView to check if that is the case

run memtest

Are you sure your 24 pin power connector is in properly? I know it sounds stupid but recently I had a build which did this and it turns out the 24 pin connector was loose and not going into the mobo properly
