[SOLVED] PC shuts down and requires PSU manual cycle when starting specific games

GPU: Vega 64
CPU: Ryzen 7 1800x
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B

I've played many graphic intensive games on my PC, but while trying 2 different lightweight games they will not run at all. The splash screen appears and then 1-2 seconds later my whole PC shuts down. The power button stays lit and the only way I can reboot it is to manually switch off the PSU and turn it back on after a few seconds.

Both games run on the same engine, Unreal Engine 4, but I've played several other UE4 games without any issue. My drivers and updates are all up to date.

I'm leaning towards it being a PSU issue, but it has also never been an issue before with higher stress games that I've played for hours. Any help would be appreciated.

Solution
You have already updated your gpu driver to currency. Good, that could have been one cause.
Otherwise, failure for specific games indicates a need for a patch for those games.
Go to the support site for those games. Perhaps there is a game option or patch available.

If you still suspect the psu, see if you can borrow a suitable replacement to test with.
If that is not possible, buy a quality replacement from a shop with a good return policy.
Expect to pay a 15% restocking charge if the replacement does not fix things.
