PC shuts down and restarts when starting a game .

Hi all ,

Im struggling for the past month with my PC shutting down whilst attempting to play games like for honor , no mans sky shadow of mordor etc .
I have a H 170 mb , GTX 1070 Zotac , 650 Watt Corsair SMPS and an 17 6th Gen .

Few other symptoms are as follows .

1) At times Pc powers up but no display . A quick flick of the SMPS switch then gets the PC to boot up and work fine .

2) PC Restarts whilst starting the game .

3) The case has been cleaned and no overheating issues have been noted .

4) I have done an SMPS stress test too .

5) I have a 1000 watt UPS from ARTIS (eco) .

Not sure where the problem lies . I ve even resinstalled my OS and still the same continues .

Please assist . Grateful .

Corsair is the brand of the PSU, what is it's series? How old is the PSU? Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard? Can you get into BIOS and remain there indefinitely?

CPU: i7 6600
Motherboard: asrock fatality H170
Ram: 4 GB Gskill DDR 4
SSD/HDD: 128GB kingston SSD , 2 TB SSHD Seagate
GPU: GTX 1070 Zotac
PSU:Corsair VS 650
Chassis:Cooler Master HAF 912
OS: WIndows 10

I can get into the BIOS no problems did not try staying there indefinitely
