Hi
I recently bought a new Motherboard
990Fxa-Ud3 and have some issues i came across. When CPU is overclocked. Whenever turning on PC it shuts of and goes back on and operates fine after that normal ? And i Installed two 2gig Hyper X Kingston and one Standard 4Gig Kingston Memory So i have in Total 3 Memory Bars i know i should have 4 memory in total instead of 3..
The Problem is it says that only 6,98 usable from 8 Gb Why ?
Thanks in Advance :)

Specs
990FXA-UD3 Rev3.0
GX 550W Power Suply Coolermaster
7770 HD AMD
2x2gb Hyper X Kingston
1x4gb Standard Kingston
AMD FX 6100 six Core 3,30 Ghz

Solution
Ok that helps explain it, your mobo is actually actually sharing DRAM with your video card, and the 7770 is calling for more than the 550TI did, this is natural on a lot of mobos, the sharing of DRAM that is, it's not a problem

First of all Thanks for the QUICK reply realy appreciate it :)
So i did as you adviced but it didnt work 🙁 still 6,89 Gb
What i find interesting is that before i had the 550 Ti and i had 7,21~ Gb
And since i got the 7770 HD 6,89 Gb
hope it helps a bit
Thanks a Bunch :)

Thanks 😀 that clears up everything 😀 😀
oh and the Startup Works fine too :) Thanks for everything :)
I still got one question tho :)
Im going for Crossfire
550W PSU with the 2x 7770 HD Ok? or should i get a new one ?

Think I would suggest - PLAN for a new PSU, butthat said, if you plan for it, then get the 2nd GPU and you don't have enough juice, YOU WILL HAVE the $$$ and can get the PSU rather than having to wait a coupe weeks or whatever, might be able to run with what you have but may be iffy....and if it means waiting a week or even two to be prepared the GPU price might drop while you are waiting.. 😉

Allright good idea 😀
Thanks for the help realy appriciate it Startup works fine 😉 and the ram problem solved too :)
Thx a lot
