Within the last month my PC has been shutting down in the middle of playing games and then it will reboot by itself.. I first noticed this happen when I was playing pubg and my PC turned of completly only to reboot moments later. I didn't think anything of it until it happend again. Lately this has been happening more frequently and with different games, it started only shutting down when i played pubg, and then farcry 5 and most recently just basic games like hand simulator and stellaris. Im suspecting that there is an issue with the power supply which is odd because it is only about 8 months old since i built my new PC in October of 2017. Any help in aiding this problem would be much appreciated

Solution
I fase same problem.

And i found mostly 2 reasons.

1. RAM (not plug properly, dirty slots, faulty motherboard port, damaged RAM)

2. Power supply. (No enough power, fluctuate power supply from main. Bad smps. Bad smps cables, bad connectors)

Try to fix them and may be it work.

And my power supply was not giving enough power for my pc that is why i face same problem also.

1st of all, is it shut off or restart/reboot?

- if its a shut off/shut down usually because of temperature problem. check your fans

- if its a restart/reboot mostly because of RAM then power problem. check your RAMs, use memtest.
