PC shuts down when gaming.

I know this is frequently asked but here are my specs, including attached peripherals to see if it's a power issue, running on an 850 watt PSU:

i5 3570k, set to 3.9ghz
Corsair H50 CPU Liquid Cooler
AsRock Z71 Extreme4 MOBO
Corsair HX850 watt PSU
G.Skill Ripjaws X 16GB 2133mhz RAM
Seagate 600 240GB SSD
Crucial MX300 525 GB SSD
Samsung 850 EVO SSD
Crucial M4 SSD
2 x 200mm fans
1 x 120mm fan
Gigabyte GTX 1080 GPU
LG DVD-R Drive

That's all I can think of ATM.

Event Viewer shows ID 41 so it's just shutting down about 5 minutes into gaming. CPU temps don't go over 60C on any core. Tried BF4, GTA 5, BF1, Fallout 4, doesn't happen when playing AOE 2.

Also, updated my drivers just now to most recent Nvidia version, will update if that changes anything soon.

Can you borrow another PSU to test? Since you can easily reproduce the shutdown, then it's easy to determine if the PSU causes the issue.

I have a spare 500 watt but that is all and I assume that won't be enough to support this rig?

It depends on the PSU.
