Hello,

As soon as my GPU starts to run under some small pressure my PC shuts down without making any sign. (my GPU reaches around 66 celsius max before it dies) To test that i used a program called "FurMark". I can stresstest my CPU as much as i want and my PC wont die, so its pretty clear it has to do something with my GPU or my PSU. I allready tried clearing my whole harddrive and even upgrading from Win7 to Win10 and also updating my BIOS to the newest Version, just to make sure it has nothing to do with my Software. All my components are allmost new (nothing older than 4 months) with exeption of my GPU which is around 2 years old. I still dont know if it is my GPU or my PSU, and i have no old hardware to check it out. I allready tested the Wattusage just before it dies but it only gets up to 280 Watt when it shuts down, nothing my new 500W PSU cant handel.

My components are:

Asus M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard
Asus AMD R9 270x GPU
AMD fx 6300 CPU
PURE POWER L8 | 500W PSU

I allready apologize if some spelling/grammar mistakes slipped into my Text.

That was my first tought as well, but if my PSU is the problem, then why does my PC not die if my CPU runs 100%?
As i said i tested the Wattoutput of my PC in different Situations, and there was no pattern with the Wattcount and the point of death.

Stressing only the CPU will put the PSU under less stress than when the GPU /and/ CPU are under load. It may not be able to give a nice voltage at the higher load.

Allright, Thanks i guess i will try testing my PSU, trying to figure out an exact point when it shuts down.

Do you have a suitable other PSU to try that is known to be working and able to power your system?

I do not, neither an nother GPU to be sure what Part it is, thats why i want to be as sure as i can before i buy new Parts.

That's fair enough, hopefully you can find a friend or relative that has a suitable PSU for you to try.
