PC shuts down without warning. MSI mobo blue light (can't find anything in manual).

PC specs:
MOBO: MSI x99a raider
CPU: 6800K
GPU: MSI 1080ti

Problem:

PC shuts dows/loses power, usually within minutes of high intensity tasks (probably overheating, looking into it, but while I wait for a new PSU, I'd like to gather as much information as possible).

After it shuts down, a static blue light comes on (on the mobo). It stays on for a few minutes even after the PSU is switched off and the power cord is unplugged. I can't find it in the manual.

Anyone who can shed some light (pun not intended) on what this light might mean?

Page 1-31 in the manual tells you what the blue light is for.
It goes along with a green light and it tells you which BIOS you are using.
I think that it might not have anything to do with your issue.
I'd look at the temps (as you said).

That's not the light, though.
Maybe a bad picture, but its on the lower left corner (to the left of the forth PCI slot)

I'm very sorry about that. Updated it now, hopefully this one stays up for longer.

I would take that nvme drive out and try , have to remember those nvme controllers use pcie lanes. That light maybe pointing to that?
