Hi I have a new build pc and after playing skyrim for 10-15 mins on ultra settings the pc just shuts down. Pretty sure it's my power supply but I need to be certain before buying a new one.

I'm currently working with:
I7 4770k 3.5ghz (with in box Intel fan)
4x4gb :16gb 1600mhz Kingston hyperx ram
Asus gforce 760 2mb ddr5
Gigabyte Ga z87 hd3 motherboard

Power supply is a cronos 750w 80 bronze Atx modular which I picked up of eBay for £55.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

That certainly sounds like a power supply problem, never heard of Cronos but an 80+ bronze rated unit should at least decent enough to power that system

Though I'd assume that it does not have enough amperage on the +12v rail to power your system under load

A decent 500-600W (750W+ for later SLI) unit from Antec, Seasonic, Corsair, EVGA or XFX should give you good overclocking headroom and future GPU upgrades

Unexpected shutoffs are usually from a bad psu and occasionally from heat. Heat is easy to check so download HWmonitor and watch it in game. How hot is your cpu and gpu getting? They would have to be above 90C to start causing problems. If they are well under that then it's the psu. I've never heard of that brand so I assume that's the problem.
