PC shutsdowns automatically.......................IS CPU TEMP 45-52 DEGREE CELSIUS NORMAL???

I have an old HCL pc having intel pentium D CPU (3 GHZ), RAM-1.25 GB, 32 bit OS, Win7, Motherboard - ASUS P5LD2-VM/S. My pc shutdowns automatically after few minutes. CPU temp was shown around 65 degree Celsius. Now, I have changed the heat sink thermal paste...............and now the CPU temperature is showing around 45- 52 degree Celsius. Is the temp normal ???? Or will I face the same problem again??

45-52'C temp are normal temp those are idle temp or at full load?
