Hey guys how’s it all going? I’ve been reading a ton of threads with my current issue which is the fact my newly built PC won’t last 10 minutes in Apex legends without shutting down, judging by all the posts I’ve read they’ve all been suggestions to upgrade the PSU, my problem however is that it’s a brand new PSU that I’m working with (Thermaltake Toughpower 650) so it’s by no means old or worn down, do you guys think I should RMA it or solve this problem another way?

SPECS
RoG. Maximus XI Code
i9-9900k
RTX 2080 TI
Corsair Dominator DDR4 3200 MHz
Samsung EVO 1TB SSD
Thermaltake Toughpower 650w

Thanks for your time!

Unfortunately, the main way to diagnose a bad psu is to replace it with a known good unit and see if the problem goes away.
Thermaltake units vary as to quality.
Past that, you have two power hungry parts, a 9900K and a RTX20806i>
600w is marginal and may be beyond the capabilities of your psu.
Did your unit have two 8 pin psu cables or did you need to use adapters.

See if you can't borrow a good 750w unit to test with.
Failing that, invest in a Seasonic focus psu of 750w or more.
