After playing GTAV on this pc (it has never been played on this pc), it started to shut down randomly, now it shuts down randomly when not gaming (even just being idle). Ive read that it could be a PSU problem, i have the Thermaltake smart bx1 rgb 750w.
Upon start it up, it says "Power supply surges detected during the previous power on. Asus Anti-surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit!"

Rest of my specs:
Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-3570K CPU @3.40GHz
Radeon RX 580 Series
ASUSTeK P8Z77-V DELUXE (LGA1155)
500GB ADATA SU650
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Zalman CPU cooler for Intel Socket 1155/1156/775 CNPS5X PERFORMA

YOU could be right. The PSU you've got is not something I'd call a PSU at all. In fact it's been the source of a lot of headaches in my region.

You should look at a PSU that is a branded, reliably built unit. Where are you located and how much can you spend on a replacement PSU? A preferred site for purchase will also be of help. 650W is the number for wattage. The quality of the unit will bump up the price.
