I have had my PC for over a year now. When I first bought it, I had an issue with it shutting off upon start up of a game or in the middle of it. For a while now it has not been an issue.. but recently I downloaded Need For Speed Heat and upon start up of the game my PC shuts down and does not restart.

All my of temperatures seem fine, nothing goes up beyond 61 degrees C.
During less demanding games like Counter Strike, everything runs fine. But now that I have tried NFS Heat, it started shutting down again.

Temperature is not too high (Or does not show that it is...)
GPU Drivers are up to date

Everything is plugged in properly and firmly, so there are no loose connections

I've seen it posted that it could be the PSU.. Everywhere I have read that 650W is recommended for the RTX 3070.. Could it be that it is not enough?

I greatly appreciate any response in advance.

It is marginal. A simple test would be to power limit the GPU to say 80% and see if the behavior continues.

3070 at stock is a 220W GPU, which means spikes to 400W or so. Add in the rest of the system and it might trigger the PSU to protect itself.

Another thing is if this happens a lot on game launch, consider enforcing V-Sync. Might be that your system is trying to render 1000s of FPS in the game menu and causing an unreasonable demand for 12V power, either causing an over current or under voltage condition in the PSU.
