[SOLVED] PC Shutting down

My PSU is rated at 850W Platinum(Corsair HX850I) and yet every time for about a week now when it is plugged into a surge protector under heavy load or sometimes even no load at all it turns off. When plugged directly into the outlet it has no issues.

Build:
EVGA 2080 TI
Ryzen 7 2700x
Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB @ 3200 mhz
Custom Water loop
2 3TB WD HDD
1 M.2
5 total 120 mm fans(no rgb)

I was currently using a Monster HTS 3500. Its a surge protector i had from my old home audio system. I figured surely it can handle a single PC

Yeah not sure but it doesn't seem like it haha.

I use a normal $15 surge protector and my PC, router, modem all run off it. Works great.
