G580-BK Black SPCC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
MSI Radeon R9 390
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz (Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO attached)
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) Overclocked to its "default" 2133
WD BLACK SERIES WD1003FZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache
Corsair CX750M
So recently my computer has been completely shutting down in the middle of playing certain games. So far Dark Souls 3, and The Witcher 2 have caused my PC to shut off; other games like EU4 and Mount and Blade cause me no issues. Whenever it shuts off, the only way to get it back on is to unplug the PSU and replug it back in. I used MSI afterburner and the AMD Radeon driver to check the temps on my CPU and GPU which peaked at about 42C and 90C respectively. Could this be an overheating issue with something else? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
