My PC shuts down what seems like randomly while playing GTA V can you guys help me find a solution?

I thought maybe the psu?
My gpu runs the same temp on other games and doesnt shut down.

PS : CPU temp while playing is 43 C° to 55 C°
GPU temp while playing is about 70-75 C°

CPU : Ryzen 5 2600
CPU Cooler : Corsair Hydro Series H60 120mm
Motherboard : TUF X470-PLUS GAMING ATX AM4
Memory : G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 8GB X4
Video Card : RX 580 8 GB
Power Supply : 600 Watts - EVGA 600 80+
Case : Raidmax Monster II ATX 3 fans

yes
1866

Do you have any suggestions on a better PSU? Mid to high tier!

Psu choice would depend on location and budget??

Ram at 1866mhz??

That's very very unlikely, ddr 4 defaults to 2133mhz base clocks, and if you double that 1866mhz it means it could be hitting near 3800mhz which is nigh but impossible on a 400 series board with a gen 2 ryzen with 4 sticks!!

While the psu is poor quality ram stability may actually be an issue here too.

Hmm, I dunno. The number i gave was already doubled.
Here is a screenshot of where i got the speed.

As far as location - Chicago, IL
Budget around $100~
I'd like to have something I don't need to worry about again for a while.
I'm rocking the rest of the build until it dies or i hit the lotto :ROFLMAO:

* As i am sure it's clear, I don't know a lot about PCs so if this is a stupid issue i apologize and thank you for the replies thus far.

You are right that it is too slow to begin with, but you misinterpret why.

ram stick speed is given in a "it gets this speed in dual channel" context, so a 5000 set of 2 is actually 2500 each. and also ram adds capacity not speed when using 4 instead of 2 slots for it.

OP, open task manager on the performance tab, it should show an entry for ram speed there, just to confirm if yours is infact going at 1866

Well damn. That's ddr3 speed haha. yeah you definitely need to go into your bios on the ram settings, asus calls it "DOCP" to not pay intel royalties for XMP. Turning that on should get you the rated speed for the ram.

How fast does the ram box say its supposed to run?

Hmm k.

Before you go to bed or if you aren't using pc for a good few hours, run a full ram test. I rather use Windows built-in stuff than bloating pc with once used software so here;

You can't use pc while it's running of course
The Windows Memory Diagnostic tested the computer's memory and detected no errors

I did buy a new PSU it will be here tomorrow. I will see if that fixes.

I played GTAV for multiple hours yesterday with 0 PC crashes. Changing the PSU seems to have done the trick.

Thanks for all the replies, i appreciate it!
