PC slow at doing normal tasks after CPU and GPU upgrade.

I have recently upgraded my CPU from a pentium G620 to an i5-2400 and the GPU from a hd5450 to a gt 1030. In games it is perfectly fine with expected fps however it is really slow when doing things like opening google chrome and other apps? anyone know why, it was faster before.

YOu generally can't just slap in new CPU and GPU, reboot and hope for the best....

You can try a repair install.

I'd personally go for a full wipe and reload, full clean install of OS, so you are not battling older GPU driver remnants, etc....

Yep that's what i did however now i have a new problem. It's got to do with windows 10 perhaps you can help me out on the other one too?
