Question PC 'Slow crashing'. I have no other idea how to describe this.

I've been having an odd issue on my PC where, when I launch an app (could be a browser, game, anything triggers it, but not consistently), the app would function just fine, but everything around it would slowly crash.

Signs of the crash occurring:
  • Unable to open File Explorer
  • The launched app seems to work, but can't load past it's current state (menus open, but appear blank)
  • After about a minute, USB devices stop responding
  • After a total of around 2 minutes, the entire PC freezes. Restart required.

No errors in Msinfo or Event Viewer, no bluescreen, nothing.

TS already done:
  • Replaced mobo, CPU and RAM (thank you insurance)
  • Reinstalled OS
  • After the replacement, the error continued, so I cloned my OS to a different NVME, issue still occurred
  • Disconnected all other drives except the new NVME, issue still occurred

The only old parts still remaining are the GPU and the PSU.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Specs:
Asus Strix B550-A Motherboard
AMD Ryzen 7 5800x
32gb DDR4 - 3600 CL 18 GSkill Trident Z
EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2
Antec HCG 750w PSU
WD Black SN850 500gb NVME Gen 4

Side note: I thought that, somehow, Razer Synapse's Chroma sync caused this, so I uninstalled that too. Still no luck.
