PC slow, freezing up, and sound breaking up/choppy/warped

For a few months now I've had problems with my PC freezing up randomly. That is, video and audio halt for half of a second or less. Sometimes I'd even get blue screens. After getting a new hard drive and video card, I stopped getting blue screens.

Now, in the last few days or so, my audio has been breaking up, getting interference, buzzing noise and all that. At first it just happened randomly, now and then my audio would stop working for a few seconds. I'd reconnect my headphones and it would be fixed. But now it's a constant thing and I can't seem to fix it.

My windows is fully up to date, video card drivers fully updated (I get emailed when they release updates), motherboard driver updated, etc. I also have done full intense scan with Kaspersky antivirus and found nothing. At this point I'm thinking its either a bad motherboard or bad RAM since I've replaced my GPU and HDDs recently. But I have no idea.

My PC has been freezing a bit and starting up really slow as well. I haven't downloaded anything recently or installed any new programs either.

Any help would be appreciated.
