Question Pc slowly froze, now won’t boot Windows?

Had a few things open, Spotify, discord and ue4 (minimised). Pc began to freeze, first discord with weird pixelated symbols on parts of the window. I click on Spotify and now some green pixelated symbols appear on parts of the window. A few seconds later my mouse freezes.
I actually can’t remember if I ended up turning it off or if it turned itself off.

I tried turning it back on but I wouldn’t get anything but a lit black screen, the monitor is on but nothing is there, not even a windows logo. It’s connected or the monitor would have turned itself off after a few seconds.

After a lot of turning off and on and spamming keys while it turns on, it rebooted itself and made 3 short beeps, it never did this again. Turned it on another time and it made 4 short beeps. Tried reseting the cmos, did nothing, reseated each individual ram, nothing, at some point it then made 5 long beeps, restarted itself, made another 5 long beeps and kept doing that same thing.

Reseated the ram and it stopped this, back to turning it on to one short beeps and a black screen. Normally when my pc turns on it makes 1 short beeps so I assume that’s good.

When turning it on again, it brought me to the advanced recovery blue screen where I can reset pc, continue to windows 10, reinstall, etc, stupidly I decided to continue to windows 10 and returned to the black screen of nothingness.

I haven’t been able to get back to the blue screen since, I’ve already tried turning it off during startup 3 times, it doesn’t work. Should be noted that I can’t turn it off when the windows logo comes on as there is never a windows logo.

I’m so confused to what actually caused this issue, the beeps could just be a result of me tinkering after the initial freeze. But what would cause my pc to freeze over time, where my mouse cursor is the last thing to be frozen? And also the weird graphical pixel symbols on the windows. I think they colour corresponded to the window, as discord had dark blue dots all over it and Spotify had green ones. They kinda looked like very badly drawn space invaders.

My pc has worked perfectly for 3 years until now, only froze twice while playing destiny on steam, though this is a known issue.

make and model of the psu?
test with the igpu? witht the 1080ti out?

windows seemed to be fine, the pc would load when connected to smaller monitors.

A lot has happened and there is still an issue. I replaced the psu and gpu after I brought it to two different pc shops and let them have a look at it. Now I have a Evga 850w gold psu and a Evga 3070. Once I changed the gpu it seemed to work perfectly again for a while, though I had to reinstall windows as the people working on it corrupted my ssd.

then about a week later it cuts out again, black screen again and can’t find the gpu signal.

so new windows, new gpu, new psu, only helped for bout a week. Gpu being the one to “fix” it that long
