[SOLVED] PC somehow rolled back to A year ago?

So last night i turn my pc off normally and today when i wake up and turn it on everything is reset to how it was literally a YEAR AGO. Like all my games are out of date and not updated when i go to chrome (a browser of which i uninstalled and wasn’t using anymore) the history shows Nov 26, 2018...... I’m so confused has this happened to anyone and does anybody know if i can restore to how it was before? Oh and btw it says I’m on Windows 10 version 1803...... Also all files are from a year ago in which i thought i deleted I’m so confused..... someone help plz.

At any point in the past (like a year ago), did you do a clone/migration from one drive to another?
Or even an OS install on a new drive?

yea i did, cause i originally built the pc without an ssd just a regular hard drive and i then got an ssd and clone/migrated files and what not....

And you left the original drive in there, with its OS...

Now, I would bet that the new drive, the SSD, is somehow faulty or disconnected.
Not seeing the SSD, the system is booting off the old drive.

There was a guy here about a year ago, with exactly this same issue.

He originally thought virus or weird OS update.
Turned out to be a bad SATA cable to the new drive.
Took 3 days for us to figure it out.

The Disk 0, 2TB, is the original HDD?

Then this might just be a case of the boot order is wrong.
It is booting off the HDD, not the new SSD.

Power OFF
Disconnect the old HDD
Power UP.

Does it boot correctly?

Just reset went into bios and somehow someway it was set to boot on my HDD lol so i switched for it to boot on the SSD and everything booted normally lol thank you... is there a way that you know to clean my hdd so this didn’t happen or do you suggest me keeping it the way it is?

This is one of the pitfalls of having 2 bootable, mostly identical, OS's in the same system.
You never really know which one it is.

Unless you have a real need and know what you're doing.

To clean the old drive...
CMD, diskpart, clean.
