[SOLVED] PC speaker or pc buzzer?

Hi there!,

In main board B450 Tomahawk MAX in manual say two different positions.
This is a pc speaker:

And this a buzzer:

Or that I thought,

In image all buzzers have the same pins that speakrers, mine have a individual conector by wire. So I plug in buzzer pins accord to manual.

It's is right?
Why all buzzer connectors are using speakers pins, what is the difference?

Second picture is also a speaker, just a small one. They all buzz but "buzzers" are piezo crystal based and speakers are magnetic.

I think you're confused about something. Both use the 4 pin connector. You can only plug it one way.

The difference is about the cable header pin of the buzzer and speaker. A buzzer will only use 2 pin. The two middle one but you still connect it to the 4 pin connector. A speaker will use both pin at the extremities but still use the same 4 pin connector.

Not, my speaker have 2 wires, red and black, and two conectors, one by wire. It's different of pictures.

If it's a speaker you use pin 1 and 4. If it's a buzzer you use pin 2-3.

Yeah, that was my doubt, It's a speaker or buzzer, I thought that it was a buzzer, but according to @CountMike both are speakers. Anyway I don't see issues connecting it as buzzer.
