Hello all,
So I have read a lot of posts on this forum to try to see if others have had the issue I'm experiencing but nothing I've tried has worked. My issue started March 30 (so as of this writing I haven't used my pc for over two months now). Basically I came home after work to find that my pc would not power on. It would either not post or post to code19 or boot up to the login screen and power off by itself.
After speaking to several people, first thing I did was replace my PSU and still got the same issue. Then I replaced my GPU and still the same issue. I spoke with my mobo manufacturer (EVGA) and got a replacement, same issue. And in my follow up conversation with EVGA, they said they found no issue with the mobo I sent in. They suggested I look into replacing the CPU. So, I called intel and got my cpu replaced. Same issue.
I'm posting now because all of the stuff I described above has taken the past two months and I just got to the CPU install process today hence why I'm posting. The pc actually stayed on long enough for me to log in before shutting off after I installed the replacement CPU. I have been reading more online to see if the issue is with my heatsink but have found nothing.
So yea at this point I'm stumped as to what else to do. I've tried going into my bios at startup but the pc even shuts off while I'm there so I can't stay in there long enough to do any meaningful investigations. I have performed test with each memory stick and they appear to give the same result. Btw, I never even oc'ed the pc to begin with so all my bios settings were default.
I should mention I built the PC in 2014 and this is the first issue I've had with it.
Help please!
