Hi all

Turned my PC on this morning to find it ‘stuttering’ or ‘hiccuping’

At random intervals frames will drop to 0 and audio will either cut out or ‘drag’ and make everything sound extremely crackly. This happens for less than a second but it is so frequent and random it makes it infuriating so deal with

This happens regardless of what I am doing. Music, games, browsing etc.

It has happened in the past then went away and it hasn’t happened for about 6 months

I’ve cleaned out my PC, resat my RAM and GPU. Scanned for malware. Defragged and cleaned disks.

any ideas and help would be appreciated

Thanks for your reply

Somehow, suggested by a friend, an Ethernet cable from the modem to the PC (I had to get a 30m cable) helped the issue after restart. I haven’t taken it out yet but for now the issue is solved.

Because In past I had also faced the same problem.... My Motherboard was the culprit. Then, I replaced my motherboard with a Gigabyte x470.
And now,
My pc working flawless. Try to find that part, you will definitely gonna see the results after replacing the bottlenecking part.
