Not sure if this is correct place to ask this question if not sorry as i new here. Anyway i have a pc that the system fans start when switched on then stop after a second. A motherboard light stays on green although system is other wise dead at this point.
I have tried another PSU (same spec) from a another working pc and it still does same. I have also took each ram chip (there are 2) out separately and tried them in another pc and they work. Also took the ram chips from working pc and tried them separately and still same results every time fans run for second and stop but mother board light remains lit. I tried starting system without any ram chips and fans run and don't stop and get constant beep codes every second or 2
No sure at this point could it be CPU or Motherboard that is at fault. or does any one have any other ideas?
