Pc starts fine but led light on power button doesn't

So yesterday I was away from the pc but left it on. When I came back it was in hibernate mode, what I usually do when its in hibernate I press the power button and it turns on. However, this time instead of it saying "resuming windows" it said "starting windows". So it did not resume the os it restarted the os. The power button was always a blue circle when on, and if it was in hibernate it would be off. But when the pc turned on the light was still off. I didn't think of it as much but the next day I turned on my pc again and the light was still off. The manufacturer is MDG os WIndows 7 Ultimate. Any reason as to why the light stopped working? its a circle around the button blue light.

You can try to disconnect then reconnect the power lead from the motherboard
