pc starts on it's own

hi all, i have an asus m2n-e motherboard that will start without beeing turned on?

it could be the power switch is acting up. Do you notice anything odd with it?

You could disconnect the wires from it and if it doesn't start up by itself, you know it's the switch.

Boot into your BIOS. Look in the Power menu then APM Configuration. Make sure of the following:
- Restore on AC Power Loss is set to Power-Off
- All other "Power On By..." options are set to Disabled.

Press the <Del> key during POST when you first turn on the computer to enter the BIOS.
