I’ve recently flashed my BIOS after stability issues which ended up becoming the PC turning on, but no longer showing any display and the CPU EZ Debug light being lit.

I attempted to boot a few times following the flash and would get NO debug lights, but also no display.

I removed CMOS and cleared. Now when I boot the MPG pre-BIOS splash screen comes up and tells me “Press DEL for BIOS setup or F11 to Boot menu. Press CTRL+F5 to activate M-FLASH”

The problem here is that the PC isn’t taking ANY inputs from my keyboard. I swapped keyboards to another and same issue. I plugged both keyboards into a working laptop and they function as intended.

I went back to look at the EZ debug lights and now the VGA light is lit. Every boot cycle goes through the same where I will reach the pre-BIOS screen, VGA light is lit, and that’s as far as I can get. I’d accept the VGA being the issue if it wasn’t showing me a display, but it is.

Does anyone have any recommendations/insight? TIA!

Wanted to provide an update to the fix for this.

I had a spare CPU (same model) and installed that in the system. During removal of the old CPU I noticed that the thermal paste (which came pre-applied on the NZXT Kraken) had pooped over the side of the CPU. Not a significant amount, but could’ve cause the issue with the CPU.

I PUT THE NEW CPU in and applied new paste, and the PC came up without an issue.

Is this the motherboard you're working with;
?

Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory
Remove two sticks of ram from slots A1 and B1 and see if you're able to get the system to POST and then to GUI. If that doesn't work, try with one stick of ram on slot A2.

Hello

Since posting I’ve attempted both 1 stick in and 2 sticks in

A few of the boots after doing this allowed me to get into BIOS, and then the computer would freeze while navigating inside BIOS. The PC detects the hardware changes.

While in BIOS for that short while I looked at the hardware the machine could see. It saw both storage drives. Saw cpu (of course) and the RAM.

EDIT: Yes, this is the B550. Sorry for typo.
