Hi,

A few days ago I turned my PC on and part way through booting it said no signal and the monitor went to sleep. Now when I start it, it says 'no signal' immediately after switching it on. I was in the market for a new graphics card anyway, so I ordered one up and installed it (+ a new PSU) to see if that solved the problem, no joy. I've tested the monitor and the VGA cable, I've checked all the connections and I've tried the CMOS resest procedure I've seen suggested and still nothing. If anyone has any suggestions about where I go from here, they'd be much appreciated, thanks.

I'm using the DVI-I dual link port on my card, with the DVI-A to VGA adaptor that came with the card. I've also tried the DVI-I dual link to VGA adaptor from my old card, with no luck.

Yep, tested with my laptop and they were working fine.

ETA: Sorry thought you were asking if I'd tested, but yeah I tried them with the VGA port on my laptop.
