All of a sudden, my main PC has lost its ability to connect to my router via 5GHz. I can connect via 2.4 just fine. Other devices in the house have no problems connecting via 5GHz.

I have tried the following...
  • Rebooted computer
  • Rebooted router
  • Disabled 5GHz, rebooted router, re-enabled 5GHz
  • Changed IP of PC, rebooted router
  • Completely reset PC networks, ie. dns flush, reset winsock, release/renew ip, rebooted.
  • Uninstalled adapter from Device Manager, including driver. Re-connected and re-installed fresh, latest driver.
My WIFI adapter: TP-Link WiFi 6 AX3000 PCIe WiFi Card (Archer TX3000E)

Is it possible for a wifi adapter to lose the ability to connect via certain frequency?

TP link... I love them and I hate them. How old is the card, They sadly have a high failure rate but TP is good about replacements.
