[SOLVED] PC stopped working overnight

Hello ,

Last night I was using my PC as I normally would and turned it off properly. This morning when I woke up I turned it on but there was no beeping sound while the fans and led lights worked . Naturally , there was no communication with both monitors I tried .
Another method I tried was to remove the RAM and try start it without . It's my understanding that you would normally hear a sound when you do that but nothing . Once I put them back in , the problem persisted ( I also tried with only one ram stick ).
I have also tried the more simplistic method of checking cable connections , unplugging and plugging back in with no result.
I have a basic knowledge of hardware, but it's my understanding that energy fluctuations may have caused the PC to go in a "protective mode" , but besides that I don't see how it would just suddenly stop working.

My specs are : I7 gen 9th , GTX1050ti , 16Gb RAM ( 2× 8gb DDR4 RAM ) , 750W PSU ( NJoy Woden 750W ) , motherboard : ASUS Prime H310i Plus R2.0

I can also mention that the case , fans amd psu were replaced 6 months ago due to overheating issues and it has been working perfectly since.

It would be much appreciated if anyone could suggest some solutions besides the ones I tried

Hi there,

Your PSU isn't a good one at all. I'd recommend you get a decent 550-650w Gold rated unit. Corsair TXM/RMX/RMi/new CXM, Seasonic Focus Plus Gold, EVGA G2/G3.

These will have a 7-10 year warranty, are made with quality parts and will transfer to a new system down the line.

Even though the Woden is technically a gold unit, it is cheap and has a 3 year warranty. They are cheap for a reason. They are not made with quality parts. Not all gold units are made equal. But those from the brands mentioned above and one or two others are the way to go. It's very possible your current PSU has just failed.
