PC strangely stops responding

Hello guys, I'm having a problem here which I find very unusual.

Every now and then my pc stops responding. thing is: mouse and keyboard still works, I can highlight buttons on programs, open START menu,browse files on an already open window, although the programs always stops responding if I click anything. Also, music stops completely

What I tried: update, spyweare removal, restarting, registry cleaning.

What I checked: Fragmentation is at 1%, tried checking resource monitor and only disk and memory stops completely, but after the "freezing" stops the memory shows lots of grave failures.

It happens just about anytime. Gaming, browsing internet, slothing around the desktop... I thought maybe it could be memory, but I can't check it right now on another PC.

Sounds a bit like Malware, have you run Malware Bytes (free version)

Funny, just ran spy-bot again and found another malware which I deleted, for now it's been a smooth run. If anything changes I'll report back.

There's alot of it out there right now that is poorly written and causes problems like you are encountering, might want to try the free version of MalwareBytes, which is very good
