Question PC Stuck On Mobo Logo and Freezes

To begin the long story of what has happened and where I am now, let's start with initial components.

Motherboard#1	ASRock B450 Gaming ITX/ac
Motherboard#2	ASUS ROG Strix B450-I Gaming
CPU	Ryzen 2600x
GPU	MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 TI Ventus OC
Power Supply	Seasonic Focus Gold SGX-450 Watts

Ram	TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan 2x8GB 3000mhz (On the Compatable list for both mobo's)
Storage	Crucial MX500 M.2 2280
Cooler	Stock

So, to start off, the built initially ran fine. After a few days I started running into random hardlocks at idle and had to force power down to get back up and running. I searched for solutions and eventually turned off the cool n quiet setting in my bios (ASRock) and changed my windows power plan to high performance. This helped for one day.

The next morning I booted up my PC and started up ARMA 3 to do some fps testing. About 20 minutes in I ran into another hardlock. Except this time when booting up I ran into a blue screen error that said something along the lines of a invalid file in my os or something. It then gave me the choice to go to boot options. I then tried to boot into bios but only got to stare at the ASRock logo. No inputs did anything. I then tried all I could thing of or find online.

Steps I tried:
I tried clearing cmos. No change.
I tried using one stick of ram. Nothing
Tried different set of same ram.
Tried another identical GPU.
Called each component's support and let them try everything they could think of.

Eventually I was told it must be a faulty Mobo, so I sent it back and ordered the ASUS listed above. It had better reviews and was on prime so I didn't have to wait 2 months for a RMA replacement to come in.
Today after setting it all up again I booted to the windows blue screen that happened before, then the error is back. Just stuck looking at the ROG logo and cant get to bios. I tried Asus support and they told me to RMA the board.

The motherboard debug LEDs will get stuck on either VGA or Boot, and restarting the system a few times switches between them. And rarely I get to a black screen before logo with the white underscore in the top left with nothing else on screen. That freezes up as well.

Hope someone out there is able to think of something because I am all out of ideas. My next step is to try and RMA the CPU because it is the only component I am not able to test with a duplicate from another build. Thanks for reading my essay and for any input or ideas you may have to offer.

Make it simple, remove all the RAM, boot device, and any store devices if you had, clear the CMOS, use a working GPU to boot the PC. If the PC does not boot, that means either the MB or cpu has problem. And in your case, the CPU may have problem, except you have very bad luck, got a DOA ASUS ROG Strix B450-I Gaming .

Ok so I tried what you said, and it just recreated what happened when I first cleared cmos on this board. It boots to this screen:

From there if I do Ctrl Alt Del it takes me to this screen:

If I press the F1 key as it suggests it goes to a black screen and the mobo led for boot error comes on.

1) From the 2nd screen shot, If you did not connect the M2 SSD boot device, after press the "F1", you should get the black screen with the error, because you didn't have the boot device.

Also did you use only one stick RAM, or two? Anyway, now just used one stick, then go to the 2nd step.

2)Try to clear the CMOS again, put back the M2 SSD, then boot the PC again.

I tried what you said, same result. I put the M.2 drive in, I press f1, then just a black screen and the boot led comes on. I used one stick of ram because that's what the other link you sent said to do.

That means your M2 or OS may have problem. If you have other SSD or any HDD, try to use the win10 bootable USB + other SSD or HDD to see you can install the win10 in it.

Tried with a windows 10 installer USB and got same results. Couldn't get Asus crash free bios to work either. I dont even know what to try next.

Ok, if it is the MB I have some really bad luck. Hopefully it is just the CPU since that is a quick exchange with Amazon.

Did you ever fix the issue? I am having the same exact issue. It wont even do anything if I press F1 on that screen. Can't even enter BIOS
