Question PC stuttering after few hours of gaming

Hi guys!

I just want to share with you my issue to check if someone can help me find out my stuttering/fps drop.
This happens whenever I play for like 3-4 straight hours, then I restart my pc again to play again for 3-4 before it does the same issue.
Does anyone know if this is related to SSD/HDD?

SSD temp on idle: 41° - while gaming: 55° - Health: 76%
HDD temp on idle: 27° - while gaming: 35° - Health: 100%

Unlikely. Once a game loads, there's very little do with SSD/HDD in most cases.

SSD temp on idle: 41° - while gaming: 55° - Health: 76%

That being said, 76% health is a bit worrying - whre are you getting that info?


What you're descripting would be more indicative of high CPU or GPU temps, generally.
Are you monitoring those also?

Hey there,

Can you list your full PC spec? CPU/GPU/RAM/MOBO/PSU etc. Then we can better diagnose.

It could be caused by SSD/HDD, but also could be caused by GPU, or ram.

PC specs:
CPU: i7 9700 - fan: MSI core frozr L
GPU: MSI RTX 2060
PSU: TT litepower 650W
MOBO: MSI b360M gaming plus
RAM: 16gb 3000mhz xpg

my CPU temp in heavy load is around 61° and GPU temp is around 80°

I got above diagnostic from HD sentinel pro program
