PC Suddenly Running Slowly

I had a game glitch on my PC where the game wouldn't load. To fix it, I had to disable my GPU and re-enable it. I did that and now my PC is tremendously worse than before. I have noticed that my CPU usage has raised a noticeable amount and that my GPU usage whilst playing games has lowered. I have not had this computer for long, I would really appreciate some help. I know my GPU is enabled as it says it is in device manager.

8GB Ram
ASUS 1060 Duel OC 3GB
Ryzen 3 1300X with stock cooler.

When you disabled your GPU did need to connect your monitor to the Motherboard?

No, I didn't.

I would shut the computer down, unplug it, then pull the GPU out and reseat it. It's possible that when you disabled the card through windows, the software malfunctioned. Now, you'd think that restarting the computer would fix it, but drivers are finicky that way.
