I was playing league of legends when my pc suddenly shut down, the power button from the case was blinking with a green light I disconnected the pc from the power supply and tried it to turn it back on but didn't work. I tried switching the power supply and still doesn't want to turn on any ideas what it might be?
Here is my build:
motherboard: ECS A960M-M3
psu: 650w
CPU:AMD FX-6300
graphiccard: geforce gtx 650 ti
memory: corsair vengeance pro series DDR3 4Gb

Did you solve the issue? I have exactly the same issue as yours. Same motherboard. Similar CPU. The machine suddenly shut down in the middle of work. The LED on power button was blinking after shutdown. But nothing happened when the power button was pressed. After unplugged the machine then put it back in power, it can't power up any longer.

Here is my build:
Motherboard: ECS A960M-M3
CPU: AMD FX-6100

I tried the following:
1. Used a brand new PSU
2. Power cycled by holding power button for 30 seconds
3. Cleared CMOS
4. Replaced CMOS battery

The LED on graphics card is lightened. The CPU fan doesn't spin.

I don't see the point. By removing the 4 pin power cable, he gets out of the equation the CPU, checking if the board is able to power the fans.

Leo_The_Lion, does the psu fan & any other fans spin at all? disconnect all cables to drives, remove the videocard & use the onboard video. any domed or leaking capacitors on the motherboard?

alexoiu, taking that 4 pin connector to supposedly not power the cpu won't work as cpu is still getting some power from main connector.
The separate 4-pin ATX 12 V that is on your board...
Older computers put most of their load on 3.3 and 5 volts. As time passed, computers drew more and more of their load from 12 volts. Before this power cable was introduced there was just one 12 volt line provided to the motherboard. This cable added two more 12 volt lines so more of the load could be shifted to 12 volts. The power coming from this connector is usually used to power the CPU but some motherboards use it for other things as well. The presence ‎of this connector on a motherboard means it's an ATX12V motherboard. For dual 12 volt rail power supplies, this connector provides the voltage referred to as 12V2. The power cable which plugs into the 4 pin connector has two black wires and two yellow wires. This cable is sometimes called an "ATX12V" cable or "P4" cable although neither of those are technically accurate descriptions.
