Pc switches itself off and power button flashes amber

Hi,

I've got a DELL Optiplex GX520 and it keeps switching itself off and the power button flashes amber.

I have either to keep the start-up button pressed down for about 10 seconds and then switch the PC back on again or have to remove the power cord from its socket and plug it back to bring it back on. It then starts up as though nothing has happened, and works fine until it goes off again. Of course, I loose whatever job I was working on.

Any ideas?

It sounds like the PSU is dying.
