Yesterday while playing Watch Dogs my PC switched itself off with no warning, just a black screen and it powered down. About 5 seconds afterwards it powered itself up again.
This happened frequently through out the day which is weird because I had been playing the game for hours beforehand and had no problem of the sort.
I tested it with another game, Wolfenstein the new order, and the same problem happened even though I had played the game for almost a week with no such issues.
I had this same issue maybe a month back while playing other games, which was shortly after getting a new power supply. The problem persisted for a few days and then seemed to stop.
I checked the temperatures of my hardware while in game using Speccy and my GPU went to around 65 degrees celcius, and the CPU to around 50.
Could this be a faulty power supply?
