[SOLVED] PC takes abnormally long time to power up

im putting this on the power supply because im not sure if this where my problem is. anyway,I've recently upgraded my old desktop with ryzen 5 3600 along with aorus b450 pro and gtx 1660 and 16gig 3000 ram. everything is fine but for some reason it takes about 30 seconds for the pc to start booting( before the first beep) which im pretty isnt normal considering even my old set up doesnt take that long. all the lights and fan on board are all turned before the first beep. i was wondering if its because of my old PSU thermaltake gx1 600w i am also using an old case and old SSD which i all cleaned before putting them together .do i need to get a new PSU or something else is at fault? also the shop where i got the parts updated the bios.

Did you clear your BIOS after all of these hardware changes?

I did the bios clear(by this i mean remove the cmos batt for 10 mins) and it did not help is there something else? the board ram gpu and cpu are new.

There's a clear CMOS jumper. Taking the battery out for 10 minutes isn't going to do squat.

i did this and removed the battery but the problem is still there

ok, so you upgraded to a 3rd gen ryzen CPU in an B450 motherboard so the main question should be did you update the BIOS to properly support that CPU?

i am not sure, i let the shop where i bought it update them before i took them home

i resetted the bios then re update it and it works better now, thank you
